Bewley’s Host Paddy Campbell’s Small World Exhibition From 1st July to 31st July 2010

Small World Exhibition by Paddy Campbell. View daily from 11am - 6pm, 1st July to 31st July in Bewley's Café Theatre, Grafton Street Dublin.

Paddy Campbell invites you to peek inside his Small World exhibition of fantastic sculptures.

6 scenarios depicting scenes from everyday life.

“Small World highlights my interest in contemporary real life sculpture where the viewer can empathise directly with the piece they are looking at…peeping through a bathroom window, watching the world go by on a beach, or finding an open living-room door with a party in full swing inside. A glamorous catwalk beckons us to explore behind the scenes where preening models can be caught unawares… While, through the window of a night-train we can glimpse a moment in the life journey of each passenger… There’s even a “Small World” Café (Bewley’s of course!) where love stories begin, and end, as we watch, and coffee gossipers mix with mothers relating stories of bye-gone treats with grandmothers.”
