Bewley’s to feature in episode six of Neven Maguire’s new Home Chef Series starting this week on RTE 1
Neven Maguire’s new Home Chef Series which focuses on Irish food brands begins on RTE 1 12th January at 8.30pm. As an iconic and much loved Irish brand, we were delighted to be asked to feature in the show.
Neven recently visited our Roastery here on the Malahide Road in his search for the perfect coffee to feature in his recipe. Neven met with our Master Roaster Paul O’Toole and his expert team of roasters and baristas. He received expert training from Paul in the art of coffee cupping and sampled Bewley’s extensive selection of filter blends, single origin coffees and espresso blends.
Neven also met with Patrick Bewley, grandson of the founder of our famous Café on Grafton Street, where he learned about the rich heritage and evolution of the Bewley’s brand.
Neven was very impressed with the award-winning quality of Bewley’s coffee we are producing and has now chosen to serve Bewley’s coffee in his award winning restaurant, MacNean House.
