DCU Educational Trust Programme

Now in its 20th year, the DCU Access Scholarship Programme provides over 400 talented students with the opportunity of a third level education, which their circumstances would not otherwise allow.

Dublin City University pioneered the Access Programme and it is now the largest and most successful programme of its kind in Ireland today. The overall aims of the Access Programme are:

  1. to develop positive attitudes to education and help younger people to remain at school,
  2. to encourage more students to consider third level education as a viable option for them and
  3. to support those students who do make it to third level to complete their course of study.

Bewley’s Access Scholarship Programme

Marketing Director, Noel-John McLoughlin was pleased to open up a closer relationship with DCU, “Bewley’s have a corporate policy of supporting our local community by investing both financially, and through providing resources, for ongoing education at primary, secondary and third level education. This local investment helps to ensure the sustainability of our local workforce and to further enhance our reputation as an employer of choice to future graduates”.
