Our Sourcing
We travel far and wide to source our beans – currently from at least 16 different countries – and follow the seasons, allowing access to the crème of the crop.
But there are degrees to which we don’t tend to go for our beans: namely above latitude N 23.5° or below latitude S 23.5°.
We source the finest Arabica beans from the best-run farms in the most ideal coffee locations. Bewley’s visit and approve every farm from which we source coffee.

Our Master Roaster, Paul O’Toole is Ireland’s most senior coffee expert. With over 30 years experience in the industry, Paul is an internationally acknowledged authority on all aspects of coffee processing and production – from the farms where he personally chooses the varieties of bean for harvest, to the brilliant taste experience which he carefully unlocks throughout the roasting process.
